Three plans. One does the work for you.
Free and Organizer are honest toolkits: you still do the answering and the reminding. Guide hands that work to your AI assistant, and starts with 30 free days. Free never asks for a card, and your data is always yours to take with you.
Guide plan · founder offer
Ends October 1The work does itself. Your AI assistant answers new families in minutes, welcomes each one, chases unpaid RSVPs, and keeps your site fresh. You keep the final okay.
The whole Guide plan and your own .org web address, registered for you and yours to keep, go live today. Cancel inside your first 30 days and you are never charged.
On day 30 your first full year bills at $149 $299 and covers you for a full year from that first charge. Each year after renews at your founder rate of $199 a year, while you stay subscribed. Start by October 1 to lock it in.
Free
The do-it-yourself kit: a starter site with the core pages, an inbox you answer yourself, free money collection, and every family tracked from first hello to joined. Two leader logins.
Custom .org web address: $29 a year
Organizer
More reach, same typing: announcements to everyone, unlimited leader logins, attendance, and a bigger site. The AI drafts when you ask; the words are still yours to write.
Custom .org web address: $29 a year
Members and families are never capped, on any plan. Collecting event fees and dues online is free on every plan; the paying family covers one small service fee at checkout, or the pack can absorb it. The full plan-by-plan detail is in the table below.
Your own .org web address: a real address like mylocalgroup.org, yours to keep for the flyer, the yard sign, and the school folder. It works two ways: it is your public front door at mylocalgroup.org, and it is the address your emails go out from, so every message to a family looks like it came from your group, not from us. $29 a year on Free and Organizer · included with Guide.

In everyday copy we just call it "your AI assistant". The plan names are here so you know what to pick. Every pack also keeps a free mylocalgroup.membercairn.app address, always.
Questions, answered plainly.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. The free plan is free forever, and you never enter a card to start. You get a real website, a shared inbox, free money collection, and full lead tracking: every family who fills out your interest form lands in a pipeline you can actually work, from first hello through joined, with nothing slipping through. We earn our keep two ways: some packs choose a paid plan for broadcast messaging or to let the AI assistant do the work, and when a family pays an event fee or dues through MemberCairn they cover one small service fee at checkout. That is it.
Do families pay fees?
Only when they pay you online, and only a small one. A family paying an event fee or dues through MemberCairn sees a single service fee at checkout, the way a school-lunch site or an event-ticket site works. It covers card processing plus MemberCairn, and paying straight from a bank account keeps it lowest (well under a dollar on a typical campout fee). You can flip a switch to absorb the fee yourself instead. It is the same on every plan, free or paid, because we never want a free pack’s parents paying more than anyone else.
Where does the money go?
Into your pack’s own bank account, connected once by your treasurer through Stripe, the same payment company behind millions of businesses. MemberCairn never holds your funds. Payouts, refunds, and bank details live in your pack’s own Stripe dashboard, so the money trail belongs to the pack, not to us.
Is our families’ information safe with you?
Every organization gets its own separate database, not a shared one with your name on the rows. A full copy goes off site to encrypted storage every night and is kept for thirty days. Every page is encrypted in transit, leaders sign in with a one-time emailed link or with Google rather than a password, and card numbers go straight to Stripe and never touch us. Your families’ messages are never sold and are never used to train general-purpose AI models. Full detail is on the security page linked below.
What is the difference between the plans?
Free gives every pack a real front door, full lead tracking, a shared inbox, and money collection. Organizer adds the tools a whole committee needs: announcements to everyone, unlimited leader logins, attendance, and a bigger site. Guide hands the ongoing work to your AI assistant: it answers new families, welcomes each one, chases unpaid RSVPs, and keeps your site fresh, so the volunteers get their evenings back. The honest shorthand: Free and Organizer give you better tools for work you still do yourself. Guide is the plan where the work starts doing itself.
Can we change plans later?
Upgrades, anytime: they take effect right away. Paid plans are annual, so a move down happens at renewal, not mid-year: if Guide has not earned its keep, you simply do not renew it, and your account moves to the Free plan at the end of your term. Nothing is deleted, your roster and site and history stay put, and your data is always yours to export.
On the founder offer, what do we pay and when?
Nothing today. Your site and your AI assistant go live right away, and no charge lands for 30 days; the exact date is shown at checkout and in your receipt. On that day your first full year bills at $149 instead of the standard $299, and it covers you for a full year from that first charge. After that it renews once a year, on that same date, at your founder rate of $199, which stays yours as long as you keep the plan, against $299 standard. The offer is open to anyone who starts by October 1.
What if we cancel the founder offer inside the first 30 days?
You are never charged, and you owe nothing more. Your account moves to the Free plan, which is free forever, and you keep everything: your website, your roster, your history, and the .org web address we registered for you. Nothing is deleted. If your site has more pages or photos than the Free plan includes, the newest ones are simply kept read-only until you are back under the limit or move up again, never removed. The .org address stays yours; like any web address it renews once a year after that, and you can keep it or let it go. And your data is always yours to export.
